The merchants will provide banners and links to their web site. You place these banners on your site and when someone clicks through and makes a purchase you will be paid a commission. You should write a small article about the product which will help the search engines find the page with the link or banner. The more information you can write about the product the better this will help the buyer make up their mind and click on the link and make a purchase.
Make sure you check out what the merchant is paying in commissions, look for commissions of 20% or more to make it worth your while. You can also look for big ticket items to sell. You will earn more money with those just make sure to write good content about the product. Once you have found the product you want to resell don't bounce around from on product to another. Pick a few and stick with them,if the products are not selling you can always change product at a later date. It takes time so you need to be patient.
Make sure to have a plan and stick with it. Most new internet marketers think they will be successful right away. Most of the time this is not the case. You need to write a business plan on what has worked and what has not.
